Beiderman comes to Vashon

“Men Who Don’t Work” premiered for the cast and crew and a small group of friends and family at Living Room Theaters in Portland in late September. Raymond Carver’s widow, the poet, Tess Gallagher, has also seen the film and is a huge fan, stating “I just wish Ray could have seen it!” The short film has thus far been submitted to over a dozen film festivals worldwide, with plans to submit to at least forty more over the next year. The film will have its first public screening at Vashon Theater on Friday, December 9th at 9:30pm. The event will be free of charge and will feature a Q&A with Alex and Andrew after the screening. The Vashonline strongly encourages everyone to turn out not only for an enjoyable film experience, but to show how community can come together to create a welcome homecoming for these two fine and gifted filmakers!!
